Alix Mercer-Rees: Fibre Active

Artists Statement: I work mainly in wool and other fibres and enjoy the process of spinning and hand dyeing my yarns before knitting or felting. My inspiration comes from my surroundings and a love of colour and texture that can be seen in my work. I also enjoy recycling and reusing found and reclaimed items to be incorporated into my work.
